Usually when we serve or volunteer at church, we say we are doing God’s work. However although we say we are doing God’s work, there are many times when we serve with our own strength and not with God. In today’s passage Jesus says ““The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”
Serving without believing Jesus will only become work. It is hard to become thankful and joyful. I hope that in every serving we do, God will be our priority.
Passage to read: John 6:22-29
28.Then they asked him, “What must we do to do the works God requires?”
29.Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”
1. Did you think about Jesus when you woke up in the morning?
2. What is the word you are giving to me?
3. What should I obey?
4. Write what you are thankful for
