The Jews did not believe that Jesus was God. God gave Jesus all of His power and authority, allowing Him to teach the gospel to unbelievers, heal the sick, and show them miracles. Despite this, however, they still did not believe.
Why? It’s because of their ‘mind’.
The Jews didn’t think that Jesus could be the Messiah they had been waiting for.
And Jesus says to them in verse 24,
“Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.” Amen.
In order to have faith and to experience God’s work in my life, today, I choose yet again to let go of my thoughts. And I lay down my thoughts before the Lord.
Passage: John 5:19~29
24 “Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.
25 Very truly I tell you, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live.
