Paul’s request for the Ephesians church is that they would become his ministry partners through prayer so that although he is imprisoned, he will still continue to share the secret of the gospel.
The church of Ephesus and Paul encourage each other with prayer and love in times of hardship and suffering through the battles of faith. A community like this is a healthy and beautiful community. They pray and share love to support each other, not to be discouraged by the situation or environment as they serve God together. Let’s pray, love and look out for the needs of others in our family, house church and church community.
Passage: Ephesians 6:18-24
18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
19 Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel
