Jesus appointed people in His leadership. He didn’t appoint 12 disciples because he lacked power or strength but because He wanted to work together with them in doing ministries and building the church. Once He appointed them, He gave them His power and authority and made them great people. Jesus’ leadership wasn’t about taking all the glory but about being humble and sharing joy with others.
So, how should we live our lives today? Like Jesus, we must come together, and not be alone. Why are so many big churches being criticised? It’s because they refuse to share. When God blesses us, He doesn’t do so for our own individual success but so that we can share with one another.
When we share what we have with others, we can revive the Early Church, but if we seek our own benefits and refuse to share, God will take away our blessings.
Passage: Mark 3:7-19
13 Jesus went up on a mountainside and called to him those he wanted, and they came to him.
14 He appointed twelve[a] that they might be with him and that he might send them out to preach
15 and to have authority to drive out demons.
1. Did you think of Jesus when you woke up this morning?
2. What is God’s message to you?
3. What do you need to obey?
4. What are you grateful for today?
