We try our best to please God but it’s not easy with our efforts alone.
We try to keep our hearts from unclean things but we often find ourselves defeated by the evil spirit.
We need the Lord’s help.
We must make an effort to walk with Him.
And in order to do so, we must pray to be filled with the Holy Spirit.
There is power in the name of Jesus Christ.
We are able to protect our hearts from evil spirits through the name.
And so I call uppn the Lord today.
Passage: Ephesians 5:15-21
15 Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise,
16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.
17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.
18 Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit,
1. Did you think of Jesus when you woke up this morning?
2. What is God’s message to you?
3. What do you need to obey?
4. What are you grateful for today?
