To me, this is equivalent to the question, “have you met Jesus?”
Most people want to change themselves- their life, thoughts, personality, circumstances, and relationships.
But they soon realise that it’s not that easy.
There are limitations, and thus need help.
That’s where Jesus comes in.
There are people in the Bible who, after meeting Jesus, become a new person and live a new life.
People who meet Jesus have something in common- they know what is true and false, what it means to live a life of happiness and of misfortune.
“Have you met Jesus?”
Let us not fall for temptations to seek futile things of the world, but have a heart desiring to meet Jesus!
Passage: Ephesians 4:17-24
21 when you heard about Christ and were taught in him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus.
22 You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires;
23 to be made new in the attitude of your minds;
24 and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.
1. Did you think of Jesus when you woke up this morning?
2. What is God’s message to you?
3. What do you need to obey?
4. What are you grateful for today?
