We feel despair when something we believed in and desired does not turn out as we expected.
When this repeats, we lose all motivation and experience depression and lethargy.
False hope makes us fall and makes our spirits fall asleep.
The genuine hope of a Christian is God’s Kingdom which Jesus has clearly promised us.
We do not know what difficulties we will experience in this earth. but we have been promised God‘s Kingdom at the end of our lives.
The definite genuine hope that the bible speaks of is God’s Kingdom.
Hold onto genuine hope, not false hope.
If we do, we will receive true power to overcome hardships of this earth.
Passage: Revelation 21:1-8
3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.
4 ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
