The church in Thyatira is acknowledged and praised for their deeds, love and faith, service, perseverance and growth.
But soon after they are infatuated by a woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols. So the church in Thyatira is warned that they will be led to death and adversity if they do not repent and continue to hold her teaching. We should always live in the presence of God stand firm in God’s word and with prayer, and not be fooled by the Satan.
Passage: Revelation 2:18-29
20 Nevertheless, I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols.
21 I have given her time to repent of her immorality, but she is unwilling.
