          • Perfect worship and preparation

Throughout the Old Testament including the Book of Leviticus, God commands His people to prepare perfect, flawless sacrifices.
In order to do so, preparation must be made to ensure the sacrifices are without defect and they fulfil God’s requirements.
Without perfect preparation, there is no perfect sacrifice.

Today, our worship to God is the same. If we live our lives however we like the first six days and worship God only on Sunday, this would not be perfect worship that pleases God.
In order to give God the kind of worship He will happily accept, we must strive to be holy throughout the week.

Let us start the week today preparing for worship, and I believe God will accept our lives with joy and allow amazing grace in our lives.

            Passage: Leviticus 22:17-33
18 “Speak to Aaron and his sons and to all the Israelites and say to them: ‘If any of you—whether an Israelite or a foreigner residing in Israel—presents a gift for a burnt offering to the Lord, either to fulfill a vow or as a freewill offering,19 you must present a male without defect from the cattle, sheep or goats in order that it may be accepted on your behalf.
20 Do not bring anything with a defect, because it will not be accepted on your behalf.

            1. Did you think of Jesus when you woke up this morning?
            2. What is God’s message to you?
            3. What do you need to obey?
            4. What are you grateful for today?
