“I am the LORD your God; consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am holy”. God’s people are expected to be holy.
Especially, Worshiping other gods and obeying them will defile God’s sanctuary and profaned his holy name, the wrath of God will burst. Satan led us to live idolatry and obsceneness through social, cultural and visual media, and destroy the holy life of Christians.
Lord, We pray that you will give us the power and wisdom to distinguish evil from good, and let us not desecrate your name but be the Christians who share righteous faith by keeping our holiness.
Passage: Leviticus 20:1-8
6 “‘I will set my face against anyone who turns to mediums and spiritists to prostitute themselves by following them, and I will cut them off from their people.
7 “‘Consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am the Lord your God.
8 Keep my decrees and follow them. I am the Lord, who makes you holy.
