Many hardships exist in our lives and sometimes we become extremely discouraged when we are faced with unexplainable afflictions. Today, James the Apostle gives us a new perspective on afflictions: “the testing of your faith produces perseverance.”
Rather than considering hardships as something that causes suffering, if we regard it as a process of producing perseverance, our attitude towards hardships will change. Hardships is our life mentor, testing our faith and making us complete before God.
Passage: James 1:1-11
2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds,
3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.
4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

3. What do you need to obey?
4. What are you grateful for today?
