Jesus told his disciples to pray. This is the strategy to overcome and not fall into temptation. In order to live out the victorious life that God has given us, we must pray above any other. We must make it our habit. We should be able to pray in our home, church, workplace and school. I hope we are able to set a time to pray so that we are spiritually awake.
Luke 22:39-53
39Jesus went out as usual to the Mount of Olives, and his disciples followed him. 40.On reaching the place, he said to them, “Pray that you will not fall into temptation.”
41.He withdrew about a stone’s throw beyond them, knelt down and prayed, 42.“Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.”
43.An angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him.
1. Did you think about Jesus when you woke up this morning?
2.What is God’s message to me?
3.What do I need to be obedient to?
4.Write a list of thankful prayer points today.
