Even when Paul was having an illness, Galatians welcomed him and received him and his messages of the Gospel with eagerness and joy. But they ended up falling away because of the false teachers. Paul says to the Galatians who have turned away from him ‘My dear children, for whom i am again in the pains of childbirth until Christ is formed in you”. When we labour out of love for those who are chasing after the wrong teaching, the image of Christ will be restored among the community and we will again be united in God’s love and truth.
Passage: Galatians 4 12:20
17 Those people are zealous to win you over, but for no good. What they want is to alienate you from us, so that you may have zeal for them.
18 It is fine to be zealous, provided the purpose is good, and to be so always, not just when I am with you.
19 My dear children, for whom I am again in the pains of childbirth until Christ is formed in you,
1. Did you think of Jesus when you woke up this morning?
2. What is God’s message to you?
3. What do you need to obey?
4. What are you grateful for today?
