When a Christian is given salvation it is through the faith they have in believing in Jesus Christ, not through following the commandments.
This is because Jesus died for us on the cross.
We are free from all sin because Jesus died for all the things we did. We enjoyed not obeying God more than obeying him, and all the weakness we showed due to this, where our hearts became evil and we hated, fought, competed, became greedy, and spilt vicious words to kill others, we considered normal. Therefore we must live a life of a righteous person of faith who gives all glory to Jesus, who freed us from our sins and leads us to righteousness, and spreads God’s good influence to people around them.
Passage : Galatians 3:10-18
11 Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God, because “the righteous will live by faith.”
12 The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, it says, “The person who does these things will live by them.” 13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.”
