Answered prayers are fruits of grace God gives us based on our faith.
In today’s passage, four men came to Jesus carrying a paralysed man. But there were so many people that came to see him after hearing about him that they couldn’t get near him. However, they didn’t give up; they made an opening in the roof above Jesus and lowered the man down to where he was.
When Jesus ‘saw their faith’, he healed the paralysed.
Today, the key to answered prayers is ‘faith towards Jesus’.
Do we really believe in Jesus and his power?
When we believe in Jesus and rely on him, we are able to overcome whatever difficulties and afflictions may lie ahead.
Let us seek and pray to Jesus in faith today.
Passage: Mark 2:1-12
3 Some men came, bringing to him a paralyzed man, carried by four of them.
4 Since they could not get him to Jesus because of the crowd, they made an opening in the roof above Jesus by digging through it and then lowered the mat the man was lying on.
5 When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralyzed man, “Son, your sins are forgiven.”
