King Asa’s prayer allowed peace in his kingdom and his country. In verse 17 of today’s passage, it says ‘Asa’s heart was fully committed to the Lord all his life.’ Someone who prays does not change. Their hearts, lives and faith will become whole.
Jesus said,
‘Do not let your hearts be troubled’ (John 14:1)
‘Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.’ (John 14:27)
You will become peaceful when you pray.
If you are peaceful, all will go well.
I sincerely hope that if your hearts are troubled and going through difficult times, that you do not distress, but find peace in God through prayer.
Passage : 2 Corinthians 15:8-19
