David fully helps ready Solomon, who is the next king of Israel after him, with the preparation of the castle and the other leaders who will work with him. He then tells Solomon, ‘If you search for God with all your heart and follow the Word of God, He will make all go well. My son, be strong and brave; do not be frightened and do not be surprised, the Lord God will be with you.
We all want our lives to go well. If we love God with all our heart and if we live in pursuit of God’s Word, He will always be with us and we will experience grace where everything goes well.
Passage: 1 Chronicles 22:2-19
11 “Now, my son, the Lord be with you, and may you have success and build the house of the Lord your God, as he said you would.
12 May the Lord give you discretion and understanding when he puts you in command over Israel, so that you may keep the law of the Lord your God.
13 Then you will have success if you are careful to observe the decrees and laws that the Lord gave Moses for Israel. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged.”
