David cut the tendons of his horses because of his determination that he would not rely on the power of his army. God was always with David so that he had victory in everything he did.
Are you worried because you think that the world rotates on the principle of power and that only the wealthy people are winning?
That is false. In the end, only those that God helps will achieve victory. Don’t get pushed back and collapse into downfall, but pray to God with a faithful confession that only God is my help.
Passage : 1 Chronicles 18:1-8
4 David captured a thousand of his chariots, seven thousand charioteers and twenty thousand foot soldiers. He hamstrung all but a hundred of the chariot horses.
5 When the Arameans of Damascus came to help Hadadezer king of Zobah, David struck down twenty-two thousand of them.
6 He put garrisons in the Aramean kingdom of Damascus, and the Arameans became subject to him and brought him tribute. The Lord gave David victory wherever he went.
1. Did you think of Jesus when you woke up this morning?
