In Lydda, Peter meets a man who is paralyzed and has been bedridden for eight years, and he heals him in the name of Jesus Christ.
Jesus has also healed us, and he is healing us today. We are always worried, concerned and distressed but Jesus still heals us. We must now get up and roll up our mats; roll up our mats of despair and tidy up our area we have left disorganised.
Let us be filled with gratitude for a new life Jesus has given us today.
Passage: Acts 9:32-43
33 There he found a man named Aeneas, who was paralyzed and had been bedridden for eight years.
34 “Aeneas,” Peter said to him, “Jesus Christ heals you. Get up and roll up your mat.” Immediately Aeneas got up.
35 All those who lived in Lydda and Sharon saw him and turned to the Lord.
