God will not turn away or only spectate on your children. The God who saw the sufferings of the Israelites in Egypt and heard their groaning, came down to earth to save his people.
He called on Moses who had been trained for 40 years in a royal palace in Egypt and 40 years in the wilderness of Midian, and told him to take off his shoes.
The meaning of removing his shoes was to remove his old nature and sinful personality so that God could use him. We must remove our shoes to be used by God.
Passage to read; Act 17-17-36
31 When he saw this, he was amazed at the sight. As he went over to get a closer look, he heard the Lord say:
32 ‘I am the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.’[f] Moses trembled with fear and did not dare to look.
Questions to think about:
1. Did you think about Jesus when you woke up this morning?
2. What is God telling me?
3. What do I need to be obedient with?
Write down your thankful prayer.
