We who believe in Jesus should obey the word of God, not be afraid of this world no matter what circumstances or environments come to our life.
The apostles did not submit to threats before the members of Sanhedrin even in a situation where they could have died while preaching the Gospel and confessed “We must obey God rather than men!”
If we do not give in to the world but live by the word of God till the end, I believe that we will experience grace of the Lord everyday.
I encourage you live a life of obedience to God today.
Passage: Acts 5:27-42
27. The apostles were brought in and made to appear before the Sanhedrin to be questioned by the high priest.
28. “We gave you strict orders not to teach in this name,” he said. “Yet you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching and are determined to make us guilty of this man’s blood.”
29. Peter and the other apostles replied: “We must obey God rather than human beings!
30. The God of our ancestors raised Jesus from the dead—whom you killed by hanging him on a cross.”

2. What is God’s message to you?
3. What do you need to obey today?
4. What are you grateful for today?
