As Jesus made a cripple able to walk again those around that witnessed it became a disciple of Christ. But like the disciple Peter under pressure they all turned away from the Lord.
Peter said when he saw the crippled man standup, it is not Jesus’s faith that saves us but our own. Then gave all the glory the Jesus.
Everyday who are we giving praise and glory to?
When things go right, yes I did this! And when things go wrong, it’s all God’s fault.
In reality we are living everyday through God’s grace and unchanging love
Reading: Acts 3:11-26
11 The man was staying with Peter and John, and all the people were greatly amazed, and they ran to a place called Solomon, and gathered to them.
12 Peter saw the people and said to them. “Why do you find this strange, my fellow Israelites? And why do you look at us as if we had made this man walk by our power or godliness?
16 But this very name of Jesus has healed this man you see and know well, and this is because of faith in his name. That faith through Jesus made this man so complete before you.
