Waiting
Today's passage is about what happened after Jesus's resurrection.
As Jesus was leaving his disciples, he asked them to 'wait'.
It was not feeling hurried, fear or anxiety, but to wait.
In our life, there are many times we are anxious, impatience and at unease. And in those times we desire to run away or give up. However what Jesus says is to 'wait'. If we wait for Jesus's time, I believe that we will experience God's grace and promise.
Passage to read: 1:1-11
4 On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about.
5 For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.”
Questions to think about:
1. Did you think about Jesus when you woke up this morning?
2. What is God telling me?
3. What do I need to be obedient with?
4. Write down your thankful prayer.
