God disciplines the people because of their sins and disobedience but He also brings restoration to them because of His unwavering love. And the God who created us is saying to us "My dear son, daughter... I love you.
He is also saying “I will not put you in pain no more and you will not be put to shame nor suffer from past afflictions.” God hugs us with His eternal love and says He will fulfill His promises to us. We must see Him through the eyes of faith. Remember He is the Almighty God who made the whole world and us.
Passage: Isaiah 54:1-10
4 “Do not be afraid; you will not be put to shame. Do not fear disgrace; you will not be humiliated. You will forget the shame of your youth and remember no more the reproach of your widowhood. 5 For your Maker is your husband— the LORD Almighty is his name— the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; he is called the God of all the earth. 6 The LORD will call you back as if you were a wife deserted and distressed in spirit— a wife who married young, only to be rejected,” says your God.”
