What is an idol? It is a God made by humans.
It is not an object to rely on but a vain imagination made by human hope.
Despite this, humans continue to make idols instead of God.
Is there something you love and rely more than God?
That is an idol.
God is one who thoroughly breaks down idols.
Passage to read: Isaiah 41:21-29
28 I look but there is no one—
no one among the gods to give counsel,
no one to give answer when I ask them.
29 See, they are all false!
Their deeds amount to nothing;
their images are but wind and confusion.
Questions to think about:
1. Did you think about Jesus when you woke up this morning?
2. What is God telling me?
3. What do I need to be obedient with?
4. Write down your thankful prayer.
