Where does fear come from?
God tells the Israelites who are in fear to stop fearing.
Faith is not about setting up a situation and fitting God into it.
A faith that thinks only about the result you want from a situation will shake.
When the desired results don’t turn out the way you want, you will start to doubt God.
Faith is believing that God knows the best in all situation and will lead me.
He speaks to us. Do not be afraid! I will hold onto you!
Passage to read: Isaiah 41:1-13
8 “But you, Israel, my servant,
Jacob, whom I have chosen,
you descendants of Abraham my friend,
9 I took you from the ends of the earth,
from its farthest corners I called you.
I said, ‘You are my servant’;
I have chosen you and have not rejected you.
10 So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Questions to think about:
1. Did you think about Jesus when you woke up this morning?
2. What is God telling me?
3. What do I need to be obedient with?
4. Write down your thankful prayer.
