Paul lived with another standard.
Although Paul became old and shabby for the gospel, he became renewed every day.
This was because his standard of living was based on eternal glory.
He had assurance that things that could be seen were only for a while, but things that he would not see was eternal.
Passage to read: 2 Corinthians 4:13-18
16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.
17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.
18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

1. Did you think about Jesus when you woke up this morning?
2. What is God telling me?
3. What do I need to be obedient with?
