For the next generation not to become another generation
Would there be a future for the next generation without God? A lot of the difficulties arises in the churches are caused by the absence of the next generation. I think we have the last opportunity to make sure that the next generation does not become another generation. How can we achieve this?
It is by the word of the living God.
It is the gospel that saves the dead soul. We must not forget God's command to teach our children this gospel.
Passage: Psalm 78:1-8
5 He decreed statutes for Jacob
and established the law in Israel,
which he commanded our ancestors to teach their children,
6 so the next generation would know them, even the children yet to be born, and they in turn would tell their children.
7 Then they would put their trust in God and would not forget his deeds
but would keep his commands.
8 They would not be like their ancestors- a stubborn and rebellious generation,
whose hearts were not loyal to God,
whose spirits were not faithful to him.
