If you only had one month to live, what would you change?
"Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes" (James 4:14)
Our days are limited in this world. If we only had one month to live, there will probably be big changes.
You may have thought this while reading the short words engraved on a grave headstone. What did he live for?
Whom did she love?
What were his passions?
What were her biggest mistakes and greatest regrets?
If we had to summarise our life here on earth in one sentence what would it be? Lets think about whether we have been following and wasting our time on worthless things. The Psalmist says this:
"Teach us to number our days,
that we may gain a heart of wisdom" (Psalm 90:12)
Lets live each day as a gift from God and as if we only have one month to live.
