2025 Second Semester of Life Bible Studies
The 2025 second semester of Life Bible Studies are now open for enrolment. Rather than focusing solely on knowledge-based Bible study, the Life Bible Study program aims to nurture a Christian life that is practiced in daily living, experiences God’s power, and undergoes transformation. When Life Bible Study is connected to actual acts of serving and loving within the church and the house church, participants can experience the process in which learning changes life. This leads to Christian maturity and a joyful, fulfilling life. Life Bible Study is offered in sequence, as well as in elective classes. Here is a brief introduction to the Life Bible Studies being offered this semester.
Living Life: is a mandatory course for all who register with Sydney Crystal Church. Through Living Life, participants will clear up misunderstandings about God, gain a clear understanding of what the church is, and learn how joyful and happy a life of faith can be. When registering with Sydney Crystal Church, newcomers commit to taking the next available Living Life Bible study.
Life of Assurance: is a required Life Bible Study for shepherds to take together with their house church members. Separate registration is held for instructor-level participants.
New Life: is a required Bible study that helps believers, who may still be accustomed to worldly thoughts and ways even after meeting God, to re-establish their lives according to the values of the Kingdom of God and to put them into practice.
Life as a Couple: is for those who want continued happiness in marriage. Participants will especially learn ways to understand and communicate with each other.
Life in the Word: will focus this semester on the New Testament. Only those who have completed Living Life can take this course.
Life of a Shepherd & Shepherd’s Partner: is an essential course for shepherds and shepherds’ partners. It addresses challenges that may arise in shepherding through real-life examples and shared experiences.
Life of Worship: is a required course for the worship team, but is open to anyone who wishes to join.
In addition, Road to Happiness (led one-on-one by shepherds and shepherds’ partners): is a Life Study designed for VIPs who do not yet know the Gospel. House church members who have settled in house church meetings should take Life of assurance Bible study, and those who attend house church meetings but do not yet know the Gospel should take Road to the Gospel.
Word of the week
God said that He dwells in our worship and seeks those who truly worship Him. We worship the living God. Let us not be spectators watching worship, but worshippers who offer it wholeheartedly for the best worship.
