There are Life classes opening in the second half of the year. Rather than focusing on knowledge and running a bible class, Life classes aim to help us apply what we learn in our lives, experience God's power and live a transformed life as a Christian. When our bible studies are applied in the church and mokjangs through serving and loving one another, we experience transformation through learning. And we can live a mature, joyful life of a Christian. Within the Life classes, there are mandatory courses to be taken in stages, as well as optional classes and below are the classes currently being offered:
Living Life is a mandatory course for all registered members of Sydney Crystal Church. We resolve misunderstandings we may have of God, learn to understand what a church is and learn to find joy and happiness in believing in God. If you have not taken this class yet please join the Tuesday daytime and evening classes starting soon. If you have already taken the class and it has been more than five years, it is advised that you take the class again.
Life of Assurance runs within mokjangs. Once you have accepted Jesus, this class helps you take the first step in walking with God and living as a child of God. It runs for seven weeks, led by the mokjang leader, and this class is to be taken before or after Living Life.
New Life is a mandatory class which helps us, who despite knowing God, are still too familiar with worldly thoughts and ways, live a new life by changing our values to align with God’s values and apply this in our lives.
Those who have completed New Life can take Life of Reverence and a day time class will commence soon.
Married Couple’s Life is a newly opening class for married couples.
Couples to be ‘s Life is for those who are soon to be married and it helps us raise a happy family by teaching the right values in a marriage.
There are other classes yet to commence such as Life at Work, Transformed Life, Life of Word, Life of a Shepherd, etc. Please ensure you take at least one class per year either as a student or instructor.
This week's message
Please participate in service with more enthusiasm and optimism. We are unable to meet God or experience His grace if we are merely spectators coming to church habitually. Let us come extra early and prepare for the service with anticipation.
