There are people who are questioning whether the church is already celebrating its 40th anniversary. It has only been 16 years since the Sydney Crystal Church was founded, so it’s natural for people to be confused. After we merged in December 2014, we decided to continue the history of the Korean Christian Church. Its history is also the history of Korean churches in Australia.
We are expecting many visitors today to join us in celebrating our 40th anniversary and the ordained deacons appointment, and we need everyone’s cooperation:
First of all, we are expecting many cars and I’d like to ask the congregation to park further to allow more space for visitors.
Secondly, your participation in the anniversary service- in order to reduce disruption, please refrain from moving about once service has started, and unless you are ushering, volunteering in the kitchen or in the car park or supervising children, please be sure to attend the service.
Thirdly, our church has a large number of children and it’s imperative that they are well-supervised especially during special functions. If you have young children, please do not expect the church to supervise them but take all necessary actions to ensure their safety and well-being.
Next, please allow our guests to line up first for dinner. All ministry leaders will be dining in the tent.
Lastly, I encourage everyone to create a warm, friendly atmosphere by greeting everyone with a warm welcome.
