Our week-long special dawn prayer service commences this week. The first and foremost purpose of the service is to prepare ourselves for the upcoming conference with Pastor Park Jong Gook as we anticipate our prayers to be answered and our hearts of rich soil to bear much fruit.
As some of us will be going to work straight after the service, we are preparing breakfast for everyone and we thought it might be a good idea for mokjangs to volunteer each morning. This will allow everyone to share the burden and the responsibility and will provide opportunities to come to dawn services to those who haven’t attended in the past. Additionally, each mokjang will only be required to serve every two to three years, which should be manageable.
Please follow the instructions below when preparing breakfast:
1. Basic food items such as bread, milk, eggs and jam etc. will be stored in the church kitchen. Please check with the kitchen duty manager the day before to make sure there is sufficient amount, and have them out before service. If you’d like to serve something else besides the basic items, please discuss with the team head.
2. Make sure everything is ready before the service starts in the morning so that you don’t miss out on the service.
3. Tidy up the area for the next day.
4. It’s important that everyone in the mokjang volunteers rather than just the mokja.
5. The roster for the next two weeks is: Pastor Song (Monday), Osaka (Tuesday), Caleb (Wednesday), North Korea (Thursday) Uganda (Friday), Canaan (Saturday).
