신앙생활을 처음 하게 되면 어색한 부분이 호칭에 대한 부분일 것입니다.
When we first begin leading a life of faith, use of titles would be most awkward.
생소한 호칭을 교회나 목장에서 부르는 것을 보면서 그런 호칭이 잘 나오지 않을 것입니다. 처음 신앙생활하시는 분들이 어떻게 불러야 할지 잘 모르는 경우가 있어 정리를 해드립니다.
Seeing unfamiliar use of titles when referring to different people in the church and mokjang may make you feel hesitant in using those titles. For those people that have just begun to practise their faith, I am going to give you a run down of all the titles.
교회에는 직분에 따른 호칭이 있습니다. 목사님, 장로님, 전도사님, 권사님, 안수집사님, 집사님과 같은 경우가 직분에 따른 호칭입니다.
In the Church, titles are attached to duties and responsibilities of an individual; for example, Reverend/Minister, Elder, Pastor, Ordained Deacon and Deacon.
그리고 사역에 따른 호칭이 있습니다. 목자와 목녀는 사역에 따른 호칭입니다. 목장사역을 하는 동안에 붙여지는 것입니다. 목장사역을 하지 않는 경우에는 사역에 따른 호칭을 부르지 않습니다.
There is also a title given to ministries; mokja is someone who serves and leads a mokjang. However, if a person does not serve in Mokjang ministry, we do not use any title.
직분이나 사역의 호칭이 없는 경우에는 형제님이나 자매님이라고 부르시면 됩니다.
If there is no title attached to an individual, you can call them Brother or Sister.
우리는 모두 하나님 안에서 자녀들이기 때문입니다.
This is because we are all brothers and sisters in Christ.
나이가 더 어린 사람이 연장자를 부르실 때는 성도님이라는 호칭을 부르시면 됩니다.
If you are a younger person addressing an older individual, you may call the "Sungdonim"
성도라는 호칭만 큼 영광스러운 호칭은 없습니다.
There is no title more honourable than "Sungdonim".
일반적으로 교회 밖에서는 ~씨, 아줌마, 아저씨,...등의 호칭을 사용합다만 교회와 목장에서는 부르는 호칭이 있으므로 호칭대로 불러주시면 좋겠습니다. (물론 가족관계는 가족관계에 따른 호칭으로 부르시면 됩니다.)
Normally, outside of church you usually address other people with a ~ssi, ajumma or ajussi however, I advise that you use the correct way of addressing other members of the church and Mokjang.
그 이유는 목장에서는 나이와 상관없이 목자와 목녀가 목장의 리더들입니다. 호칭으로 인하여 목장의 질서가 생깁니다. 목장에서는 목자님 목녀님으로 불러 주시기 바랍니다 그리고 목자 목녀님들도 형제님 자매님, 성도님이라고 정확한 호칭을 사용해 주시기 바랍니다.
The reason being within the Mokjang, regardless of age, the Mokja is the leader. Addressing them correctly adds more order within the Mokjang. Please address your Mokjang leaders as Mokjanim or Mokneonim, and Mokjas please use the correct titles and refer to your Mokjang members as Brothers or Sisters, or Sungdonim.
